    Begin by connecting the HP Deskjet 2542 printer to the same Wi-Fi network as the MAC computer. You must now push and hold the wireless button on the printer until the wireless light on the printer begins to blink.
    The USB cable must then be connected to the back of the printer port and the USB port on the PC. The next step is to open the document or photo you want to print.

    Then you must select the file and press the print button.

    You must now select a printer name from the list of available printer names. If you can't locate your printer's name, look under the title "nearby printers."
